PSY 2008 Week 7 Project (South University Online)
Selecting the Appropriate T-test
An independent-samples t-test was run to determine whether there were significant differences between the heights of male and female students. The test was significant (t (-12.78), p = 0.0001). Males (M = 73.150, SD = 3.1999) were greater than Females (M = 56.000, SD = 5.078) in their height. Since p-value is less than 0.05, we must reject the null hypothesis.
